GAO Sustains Microsoft Protest of the NSA Award to Amazon

U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) sustained the protest filed by the Microsoft Corporation challenging the award of a contract to Amazon Web Services concerning the NSA procurement for cloud services in support of that agency's classified and unclassified computing requirements. GAO found certain aspects of the agency's evaluation to be unreasonable.
Due to the classified nature of the procurement, and the existence of a protective order, GAO has not publicly released the decision. However, GAO released this statement

In response to proposed corrective action by NITAAC, GAO has dismissed 117 protests of companies that were rejected in the CIO-SP4 Phase 1 downselect.
